Young Professionals Group

Our Vision

98% of Christians spend 95% of their time on the frontline. For the majority of Christians this is in the secular world. It is in the workplace that most non-Christians will meet with Christians. Therefore the aim of this group is to prepare, challenge and inspire each other being disciplines in our everyday settings.

Key Values

• Pursuing the one thing

• Being a disciple within our work places.

• Encouraging one and other to follow God in all aspects of our lives.

• Being part of a loving community.

• Worship, Fellowship and Discipleship being at the heart of the group.

Key Scriptures

The first time we meet God in the Bible, he is working.

“Then God blessed the seventh day and made it holy, because on it he rested from all the work of creating that he had done.” Genesis 2:3

“The LORD God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to work it and take care of it.” Genesis 2:15

“Give generously to them and do so without a grudging heart; then because of this the LORD your God will bless you in all your work and in everything you put your hand to.”

Deuteronomy 15:10

“Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters.” Colossians 3:23

Getting Involved

YoPro aims to meet on a monthly basis in a relaxed environment so that people can share experiences with others in similar stages in life. We are currently working through the Fruitfulness on the Frontline material from the London Institute for Contemporary Christianity (LICC). The group is for people aged 24 – 39 years.

If you would like to get involved or simply find out more information, please email the office at office@stjam.es with your enquiry.
